F1-502. Privilege of Casimir Jagiellonian, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, to the Church of Darsūniškis


Trakai, 1473 03 01
Casimir Jagiellonian, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, donates the following to the Church of Darsūniškis and its rector: farms of five peasants belonging to Trakai Castle; tithes of grain and vegetables from the estates of Darsūniškis and Eigeniškės; two "saikai" (measure of weight) of honey and a stone of wax from Trakai Castle annually; and he land of Butiškės.
The seal is missing except for the three round cuts for the attachment of the seal.
Latin; 1 f.; 20x30,5+3 cm; Text: 14,5x22 cm; 22 rows. The parchment is spotty and decayed along the folds.  Invocatio is written in enlarged letters. Initial is decorated. 
The label of Vilnius Public Library Manuscript Department is on the reverse of the parchment.
