F6-39. Donation of noble Andrius Daugirdavičius and his wife Sventochna to Vilnius Cathedral


Svirany, 1461
Noble Andrius Daugirdavičius (Andreas Davgyrdovicz) and his wife Sventochna (Szvanthochna) donate ten peasants with their land and duties to Vilnius Cathedral. After death of Andrius Daugirdavičius, the donation is confirmed by his wife Sventochna.
Clerical record and signature on the plica on the left run as follows: Albertus Stanislaus Radziwill cancell[arius] MDL sst. 
The attached black wax seal of Andrius Daugirdavičius (?) in a bowl of rougher wax attached with a string of white thread. Two holes for the string are cut in the parchment. Diameter 28 mm.
Latin; 1 f.; 14,8x21,5+2,8 cm; Text: 12x18,5 cm; 19 rows. The parchment is spotty, with small holes along the folds.  The intial of the invocatio is decorated. 
The label and the seal of the Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences are on the reverse of the parchment.
