F6-69. Foundation of the mansionary and the altar of Bishop Albertas Taboras of Vilnius in Vilnius Cathedral

Bishop Albertas Taboras of Vilnius founds the mansionary of 8 priests and one vicar at the alter of the Bishop Chapel in Vilnius Cathedral and gives them sustenance in money and food from the peasants of Šipėnai in Borisovo district in return to certain masses; and also establishes another alter in the same chapel, giving money and food from the lands of Vidžiai and Mažieji Peršojys for its sustenance.
Red wax seal of Bishop Albertas Taboras in a wax bowl attached with a string of dark cherry thread. Diameter 33 mm.
Latin; 1 f.; 60x49,5+4,5 cm; Text: 53,2x35,5 cm; 62 rows. The parchment is a little spotty, decayed along the folds, gnawed in some places. Ink smeared in places.  Invocatio is written in enlarged letters. Initial is decorated, taking up 17 lines. 
The label and two seals of the Library of Lithuanian Academy of Sciences are on the reverse of the parchment.
