F1-24. Land donation by Casimir Jagiellonian, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania


Brest, 1478 04 20
Casimir Jagiellonian, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, donates the village of Viazyn to Court Marshal Jonas Kučiukas of Šalčininkai (Johannes Kuczuk de Solcznyky).
The record on the reverse on the right: Ad mandatum domini Regis. 
The seal is missing, except for the two round cuts for the strings.
Latin; 1 f.; 23x43,3+9,3 cm; Text: 11x32 cm; 17 rows. The parchment is dirty and spotty. Ink faded, hardly legible.  The initial of the invocatio is decorated and takes up the whole text. 
The label of Vilnius Public Library is on the reverse of the parchment.
